Carter works closely with Healthi Kids’ PlayROCs advocacy committee to advance play through grassroots advocacy, strategies and tactics.

With a decade plus of experience working in youth development and education, Carter’s work aims at creating policies, equitable programmatic approaches and strategies to better engage and empower the next generation.

Carter most recently designed and lead an environmental science-based youth workforce development program aimed at creating the next generation of conservationist and working with youth on improving key interpersonal skills critical to future workplace success through Genesee Land Trust.

A youth proponent and advocate, Carter holds a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology.
