For the last two years, children, families and neighborhood organizers have rallied together throughout the City of Rochester to raise awareness for safe and accessible play spaces for every child, in every neighborhood. Our city wide coordinated play day PlayROCs your Neighborhood has brought together over 22 neighborhood partners: local churches, libraries, block clubs, neighborhood groups who have all worked together to repurpose, reclaim, and bring back play to their public spaces.
This year, PlayROCs your Neighborhood is BACK and we know it’s going to be bigger than ever! On Saturday, July 21st from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. we once again are partnering with neighborhoods across the city to advocate for change! This year we're bigger and better than before! With 30 sites across the City of Rochester - there's bound to be one close to you! Check out the map below for site locations, times and activities or click here for a printable list.

The Healthi Kids Coalition supports the current school food standards in the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act, the coalition wrote to USDA’s Division of the Food and Nutrition Service.
